Day 01
Arrival & Pick up | Colombo

Warmly welcomed and greeted by our tour guide on arrival and proceed to the historic city of Colombo. The Dutch, Portuguese and British influence on Colombo is prominent even today. The Colombo Fort, the Dutch Hospital, the Independence Square, Wolvendaal Church, Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple and the Galle Face Green are some of the central sites of Colombo. This city tour will also include shopping at some of the most popular places in the Colombo.

Day 02
Anuradhapura & Mihintale

Hike | Sinharaja Forest Hike through the rugged, muddy path of the Sinharaja Rainforest after an early breakfast. The Sinharaja Forest Reserve was declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO in 1989. Located in the wet zone, this rainforest homes to many endangered and endemic species of plants and animals. Leopards, wild boar, sambar, spotted cats and deer with 45 species of reptiles and 160 species of birds can also be spotted at Sinharaja.

Day 03
Safari | Udawalawe National Park

Embark on an early safari at the Udawalawe National Park. Large herds of elephants, leopards, samba deer, spotted deer, crocodiles, the endemic Toque Macaque and Grey Langers can be spotted. The Udawalawe reservoir and the Walawe river are two focal sites that supply water to the plants and animals within the Udawalawe National Park.

Day 04 & 05
Safari | Yala National Park

Depart to the second largest National Park in the island, the Yala National Park. Watch the wildlife unfold as you journey through the woodlands and grasslands. Yala is most popular for elephants and leopards, but many other species of animals like sloth bears, crocodiles, wild buffalos and monkeys including over 120 different species of birds can also be seen here.

Day 06
Hiking | Horton Plains

Horton Plains National Park, the Nature lover’s paradise, is distributed over an area of 3,169 hectares and is 2,100 meters above sea level. It is a well secured area of forests, grasslands, waterfalls, streams, rivers and is home to many endemic species of plants, birds and wild animals. The hike along Horton plains is long and tiring, but the vista is the perfect depiction of nature’s heavenly spell. The second and third highest mountains of the island, the most popular World’s End and the magnificent Baker’s Falls are a few of the central sites at the Horton Plains.

Day 07
Safari | Gal Oya National Park

Enjoy the wildlife of the Gal Oya National Park by jeep or boat. Many species of wild animals like leopards, elephants, water buffalos and sloth bears can be seen by jeep, while the boat safari includes a visit to the Bird Island where over 150 species of birds can be spotted.

Day 08
Safari | MaduruOya National Park

MaduruOya, yet another National Park in Sri Lanka, is popular for the large herds of elephants spotted throughout the park. With over 58,000 hectares of woodlands, the Maduru Oya is also home to many other plant and animal species.

Day 09
Safari | Wasgamuwa National Park

The Wasgamuwa National Park is home to 23 species of mammals. Wild elephants, wild buffalos, crocodiles, leopards, water monitors and 143 species of birds can be observed at Wasgamuwa National Park.

Day 10
Safari | Minneriya National Park

Located in the dry zone, the Minneriya National Park is one of the popular tourist destinations in Sri Lanka. With undisturbed forests that spread across an area of 8,890 hectares, the Minneriya National Park provides a home for many of the popular wild animals of the island like the samba deer, elephants and leopards.

Day 11
Safari | Wilpattu National Park

Situated away from the popular tourist destinations, the Wilpattu National Park is one of the oldest, most secured and well maintained national parks of the island. The main attractions of this park are the leopards, though elephants, buffalos and deer can also be seen.

Day 12
Negambo

The city of Negombo, located in the coastal region, is the fourth largest city in Sri Lanka, and is renowned for its mouthwatering seafood and golden beach. Spend your last day in the paradise island leisurely relaxing on the beach of Negombo. Bask under the warmth of the sun as you enjoy the seafood delicacies of the Sri Lankan cuisine.

  • It is not possible to cancel any booking after making the payment. Therefore, payment once made will not be refunded.

  • Visits to wildlife parks will be at client’s own risk. Jeeps available are non air-conditioned and very basic with basic insurance covers
