Day 01
Arrival & Pick up | Colombo

Warmly welcomed and greeted by our tour guide on arrival and proceed to the historic city of Colombo. The Dutch, Portuguese and British influence on Colombo is prominent even today. The Colombo Fort, the Dutch Hospital, the Independence Square, Wolvendaal Church, Gangaramaya Buddhist Temple and the Galle Face Green are some of the central sites of Colombo. This city tour will also include shopping at some of the most renowned places in Colombo.

Day 02
Elephant Orphanage &Minneriya National Park

Proceed to the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawala, which has the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. The Orphanage not only provides care and protection, but also serves as a breeding ground for the captive elephants.
In the evening, embark on an elephant back safari through the forests of Habarana or take a jeep safari to the Minneriya National Park to witness the wild elephants in their natural habitat.

Day 03
Sigiriya& Cave Temple of Dambulla

Visit the magnificent rock fortress of Sigiriya built in the year 477 AD is one of the most popular historic sites of Sri Lanka that narrates a captivating story of a power-hungry king. The frescoes that embellish the walls of the rock, the mirror wall, the water gardens and the cobra head cave are few of the most enigmatic sites of Sigiriya.
Thereafter, proceed to the Golden Temple of Dambulla, also known as the Cave Temple of Dambulla, built in the 1st Century BC. This Temple is the largest and best preserved cave- temple complex in the island and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
In the evening, transfer to the City of Kandy for an overnight stay.

Day 04
Peradeniya Gardens | Kandy

Tour the cultural capital of the island, Kandy. Established in the 15th century, Kandy is a major tourist attraction due to the vast number of historic sites and activities. The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic built in the 16th century, is the most popular attraction of Kandy.
In the evening, visit the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens in Kandy. Stroll through 60 hectares of the Botanical Garden and observe the 4,000 different species of plants.

Day 05
NuwaraEliya

Transfer to Nuwara Eliya (the City of Lights). Nuwara Eliya, situated in central Sri Lanka, is one of the most popular destinations for both tourists and locals alike. The chilly and gloomy climate and the picturesque panorama of tea and rubber plantations, lakes, waterfalls, hills and mountains draws thousands of locals and tourists each year. Few popular sites of Nuwara Eliya are, the Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, Adisham Bungalow, Race Course and Golf Course at Nuwara Eliya and the Horton Plains.

  • It is not possible to cancel any booking after making the payment. Therefore, payment once made will not be refunded.

  • The official check-out time at all hotels will be 12:00 hrs.
  • Visits to wildlife parks will be at client’s own risk. Jeeps available are non air-conditioned and very basic with basic insurance covers
